Make Your Own (or each other’s!) Engagement* or Wedding Rings at The Studio.

What could be more romantic than knowing that the rings you both wear to signify your love for one another have been crafted by your very own hands!

Anna has specialised in making bespoke wedding and engagement rings for many years, and will guide your through every step to create your own beautiful wedding (or any other occasion!) rings in recycled silver or gold, platinum or palladium. You can even upcycle your own metal if you have any sentimental old jewellery that you’d like to give a new lease of life!

You don’t need any jewellery making experience, and will be able to do as much or as little of the making as you feel comfortable with. However much you do, you’ll be able to look at your rings every day (hopefully forever!) and feel super proud that you’ve had a hand in making them!

After the workshop, your rings will be sent to the London Assay office to be hallmarked, before being returned to you in a beautiful (and re-usable!) presentation box.

*For engagement rings, you’ll do “most” of the making on the day of the workshop, before handing the ring/s over to Anna to finish off, send for hallmarking and finally set the stone/s.

The cost for the day is £395 plus the cost of the metal and stones. This will vary depending on what you choose, but as a rough guide, here’s the “approximate” metal costs for a pair of 5mm wide wedding bands:

Recycled Silver - £45

9ct Recycled or fairtrade gold - £500

18ct Recycled or Fairtrade gold - £1300

Palladium - £1200

Platinum - £1200

Ethical gemstone costs can range from a few pounds to a few thousand pounds, so its difficult to give a guide price here, but don’t worry, we’ll discuss it all before your workshop so you know exactly what you’re going to make on the actual day.

P.S. This is Maddie, rescue greyhound and Studio boss. She loves to greet workshop couples with a quick sniff, before returning to her favourite position - flat out on her studio bed!

Maddie does totally understand though that some people would prefer not to have a sleeping greyhound in their workshop, so if this is the case, please just let me know and she’ll happily spend the day with her human daddy instead.
