So, you have an idea for a special piece of jewellery, or you can’t find exactly what you want online or on the high street. You decide that you would like to have your piece made but how do you go about that?

As I sit here looking at my (not yet decorated) tree, I thought I'd do a bit of a stock take and list some of the pieces that are already made and ready to post. These will all be discounted and in my Etsy Shopalong with details of last ordering dates for Christmas.

Where's the online shop gone?
Some of my longstanding loyal customers may have clicked on the new website and wondered where the shop part has gone!
Well, having had a fully functioning ecommerce store for several years, I've now discovered that the majority of my customers prefer discussing their order with me beforehand, either in person, by email or over the phone.
Not trying to justify taking the morning off to walk on the hills, but.......
This morning I looked out of my window and saw a beautiful, sunny November morning.
Maybe my title for this post isn't strictly true as I'm not trying to justify taking a couple of hours off at all. I did want to share this gorgeous photo I took with you though
Weekend thoughts......
I intend to use this blog to let you into a little bit of my world away from being a jeweller so thought I'd start some posts about what I get up to at the weekends. Today is about my progress with doing up my "not touched since the 1960's" house.
